Quest to Atlantis
Description: The player controls a submarine that navigates through obstacles and explores each level to find the exit. The Player has limited ammo and can fight fish and sea monsters around the levels. To beat a level and progress to the next, you must find the exit portal, which looks like a well.
Controls:
- Move Forward - W
- Move Backward - S
- Rotate Left - A
- Rotate Right - D
- Shoot - Left Mouse Button
- Tracking Torpedo - Space
- Change Ammo Type - Right Mouse Button
- Change Speed (slow, medium, fast) - 1, 2, 3
- Mecha Form: Ultimate - R
- Pause Menu: ESC
UI:
- Start menu can play the game, set volumn, and set full screen
- After clicking the play button, there are two instruction pages
- In game, there is a death menu that allows player to restart the level or go back to main menu.
- In game, there is also a pause menu that allows player to look at controls, change settings, and continue the game
- After beating the final boss, there is a victory screen that allows player to go back to the start menu.
Enemies:
FishEnemy
- When the submarine hits the FishEnemy, the submarine loses 10 health points, and increases 30 energy points.
- It takes 1 bullet to destroy the FishEnemy.
MonsterEnemy1 (The grey one)
- When the submarine hits the MonsterEnemy1, the submarine loses 20 health points, and increases 20 energy points.
- It takes 3 bullets to destroy the MonsterEnemy1.
- It randomly picks a direction to shoot.
MonsterEnemy2 (The green one)
- When the submarine hits the MonsterEnemy2, the submarine loses 15 health points, and increases 15 energy points.
- It takes 3 bullets to destroy the MonsterEnemy2.
- It directly shoots the submarine.
BossEnemy
- When the submarine hits the BossEnemy, the submarine loses 50 health points.
- It fights in eight directions.
FinalBossEnemy
- When the submarine hits the FinalBossEnemy, the submarine loses 50 health points.
- It fights in eight directions, and it randomly appears on the whole map.
- When the health of FinalBossEnemy goes in half, the small enemies randomly appear.
Resources:
- Red dot that gives two ammo to the player.
- Crystal orb that gives 15 health.
- Shield gives back shield if deactivated.
- Green circle in the final boss level gives 15 seconds of infinite ammos.
- Torpedo gives 5 torpedoes.
Additions:
- Player has a shield at the beginning of the game to block the first hit, then the shield is deactivated.
- Player can kill fish and monsters to gain energy. When it reaches 100, player will transform to a Mecha. In Mecha form, the speed is reduced, and the health is doubled. One ultimate will consume 50 energy, and when the energy is down to 0, Mecha transforms back to Submarine.
- There is no pick-up for torpedoes until the final boss level. Player only has 5 torpedoes each level, so be wise to use them.
